Coming from a small town it becomes imperative to delight in the fun and “play” of small moments because there are less cultural activities and arts infrastructure available in these communities. The last group of work I made in the “Unseen Exchange” were allegories for death in a cycle of transition. In this new group of works, inspired by working alongside Robbie Adamson, I hope to express the importance of pure foolishness, and what can arise when left to one’s own imagination without the distractions of outside media.
