taking place on the eve of April Fools.

Space over Time is a group exhibit of new works by Amanda Mana Fleury and Rihkee Strap.

This series of portraits and landscapes were inspired by a two month adventure to Europe that ended with hitch-hiking across Canada.  The exhibit itself is setup like a roadmap: from portraits of people living in Vancouver, to a painting of the canola fields in Saskatchewan, to a Canadian rock band in Paris; each subject is representative of a place and a time.

Indicator Species.

Acrylic wash with lino-cut butterfly wing prints placed in recycled cellophane from Clove cigarette packets, sewn shut and linked together.  Each barrel hoop contains subsequently less wing prints.
